Life Cabins are off-grid and located in Ontario’s back country private lands besides breathtaking lakes and invigorating rivers. Life Cabins accept bookings between 4-5 months ahead of time.

At the moment, we are in touch with private owners and municipalities, and we will update you with our new cabin locations.

This cabin is powered by solar. It is important to be mindful with energy consumption as this is an off-grid cabin. Usage of too much energy may cause loss of power. There is back-up generator in case of low power

GOOD TO KNOW

Life Cabins are located in isolated wild environments. All guests are responsible for their own safety and are required to have general wilderness experience and an overall sense of comfort to be in nature.

Our cabins are either on a public conservation or private owned land. While the cabins are in a remote location, you may hear or encounter other hikers/visitors on the trails and lake.

All reservations are made online via Lifecabins website. We make reservations up to 3 months in advance. For any booking annulments please check our Cancellation Policy on Lifecabins.ca
Lifecabins offers a two/nights minimum booking policy and three nights on long weekends.

All changes or cancellations to your booking must be made through email. A cancellation fee will be applied correlating to the number of days your annulment is made, before the day of your anticipated arrival:

Cancelling within 24 hours (one full day) from making your reservation it is fit for 100% Refund
Cancelling before than 14 days (two weeks) prior to check-in it is fit for a Main Refund (85% of the total booking amount)
Cancelling 7 to 14 days (one week) before check-In it is fit for a Partial Refund (50% of the total booking amount)
Cancelling 7 or fewer days (one week or less) prior to check-in it is fit for a 0% Refund/ No Refund

*** We will give 100% credit for your next booking with Lifecabins if you can’t honor your reservation due to Covid-19 related governmental shutdowns. A full refund will be based on Life Cabins Refund Policy. ***

Changes to your booking dates is considered a new booking and will be subject to the cancellation policy above.

Yes! Several Lifecabins offers a pet friendly environment with only one pet per cabin plus an additional fee of $20/night. Pet friendly cabins are marked accordingly with pet friendly symbols under each cabins detail page. For more information, please check Life Cabins Terms and Conditions.

Life Cabins are off-grid arrangements, solar powered and eco-friendly tiny cabins on wheels. Each cabin comes equipped with a fully functional kitchen. Additionally, our cabins provide an open concept seating area with one queen-sized bed, one sofa which can be converted to a queen bed, compost toilets, indoor/outdoor showers, a propane BBQ and heater, decent size decks and large windows all around to enhance nature’s charm.
